dc.description.abstractSince the development of the Indian ca pital market and deregulations of the economy in 1992 it has came a long way with lots of ups and downs. There have been structural changes in both primary and secondary markets since 1992 scandal. Mutual fu nd s are key contributors to the globalization of financial markets and one of the main so urces of capital flows to emerging economies. This article provides an overview of mutual fund activity in emerging markets. It describes their size, asset all ocation. This paper is a process to analyze the Indian Mutual Fund Industry pricing mechani m with empirical studies on its valuation. It also analyzes data a t both the fund-manager and fund-investor levels. The study revealed that the performance of the fund affected by the saving a.nd investment habits of the people and at the second side the confidence and loyalty of the fund manager. The study revealed that rewards affects the performance of the MF industry in India-
