Abstract: Different fungicides were evaluated as foliar spray against foliar fungal diseases viz., anthracnose caused by Colletotrichum truncatum (Schw.), Cercospora leaf spot, Ascochyta blight of Green gram (Vigna radiata L). Spraying were applied 55 days and 70 days after sowing. All the treatments significantly reduced fungal diseases viz., anthracnose caused by Colletotrichum truncatum (Schw.), Cercospora leaf spot, ascochyta blight intensity and increased the test weight and seed yield of Green gram over unsprayed control. Carbendazim 50WP(@ 0.1 %) was most effective, recording least mean disease severity in Anthracnose disease at 55 days 19.31 and 70 days 24 .. 89, Cercospora leaf spot at 55 days 16.15 and 70 days 23.93, Ascochyta blight 55 days 17.31 and 70 days 22.53 and highest grain yield (52q/ha). The second and third best effective fungicides were Redomil M Z (@ 0.25%) and Captafal (@ 0.2%), and the least effective was copper oxychloride. The yield increased over control is 86.67% which is maximum yield, amongst all treatments followed by ~edomil MZ.
