Abstract: Culture is a term that is used regularly in workplace discussions. Culture is the environment that surrounds employees at work all the time. Culture is a powerful element that shapes employee's work enjoyment, work relationships, and work processes. However, culture is something that one cannot actually see, except through its physical manifestations in work place. The culture of the organisation should be developed to support continuous improvement, improve employees' style of performing their job and thus develop quality awareness. Organisational culture has influenced employee work behaviour as a result of the acceptable behaviours and attitudes to various jobs in the organisation. Organizational culture is the collective behavior of humans who are part of an organization and the meanings that the people attach to their actions. Culture includes the orga'hization values, visions, norms, working language, systems, symbols, beliefs and habits. It is also the pattern of such collective behaviors and assumptions that are taught to new organizational members as a way of perceiving, and even thinking and feeling. Organizational culture affects the way people and groups interact with each other, with clients, and with stakeholders. In the above context, the present paper is attempted to study the organization culture and its impact on employees working behavior in BHEL, Ranipet, Tamil Nadu
