dc.description.abstractThe paper discussed the corporate governance of India on the changing the outline of the co1vorate board system. The board structure is well established and closely aligns with AngloSaxon model. At present the system of corporate governance in India has undergone astic changes in strengthening the regulatory framework and aligning with international standards. The paper suggests that the corporate governance system in India sti ll need to adess the mechanism to evaluate board performance.-
