Abstract: Aquifer characteristics of different Hygeological formations are evaluated for determination of yield of dug wells and extent of lowering of water levels in the pumped wells. This provides basic information for the solution of many regional as well as local groundwater flow problems. There were so many methods for determination of aquifer parameters in confined and unconfined aquifer. In the present study Papadopoulos and Cooper method and AQTESOLV software was used for determination of aquifer parameters. The transmissivity values obtained by the Papadopoulos and Cooper method ranges from 132. 82 m2/day to 343. 94 m2/day. The transmissivity values obtained by AQTESOLV software ranges from 60 to 374 m2/day. The transmissivity values of all the methods of software were strongly correlated with each other. Software methods show very strong positive correlation with each other’s for storage coefficient values.
