Abstract: The past three decades were very significant and challenging in the global history. The major events which have left profound impact on the global political economic environment includes the virtual collapse of socialist system, rise of capitalistic system under the patronage of World Trade Organisation, failures of giant corporations around the globe and the recent economic recession. In such scenario of political deficit, ethical deficit and governance deficit the issues relating to good governance is not only critical for the success of corporation but also. For economic and political system as well. The present study has been pursued with the objectives such as role of corporate sector in 2G spectrum allocation scam, unethical dimensions of corporate sector in neoliberal era and study of business ethics in the light of teachings of Indian scriptures. It has been observed. Form this research work that India should strive to develop its own model of governance on Gandhian philosophy of trusteeship, which has been elaborated in various Indian scriptures at a length.
