dc.description.abstractElectrical power is primary input for r enhancing the country’s economy through which the overall living standards of the people could be enriched. If industrialization is the yardstick to measure the overall economic position of the country, the electrical power tells us the extent of industrialization o f a country. This article tries to present the advantages of Solar Power and initiatives of both the Central and State Governments in propagating the use of this renewable energy foo r the benefit of mankind.-
