Abstract: In this paper a completely new and inspiring leadership model called the 'SPECIAL G2' leadership model is proposed. It is special because the leadership lessons learnt are not from the usual business or political leaders who are already discussed and debated. They are from leaders who have dealt / are dealing with their business quietly but effectively without the usual fanfare. Also the new model (SPECIAL G2) throws an entirely different perspective to leadership which is very inspiring for leaders- S for Shared, P for Pragmatic, E for Empathetic, C for Consensus, I for Invisible, A for Altruistic, L for Level 5, and G2 - Green and Grassroots.
