Abstract: Psychological Contract is an effective tool to develop a strong relationship between the employee and the employer. A strong psychological contract leads to the development o f positive attitudes and behaviour o f employees in the organization. The basic purpose o f this research is to examine the types o f psychological contract prevalent in the IT Companies and investigate their relationship to the job satisfaction o f employees. Data was collectedfwm 112 IT employees working for five IT Companies located in the Visakhapatnam city. The findings o f the study revealed that relational contract is influencing the job satisfaction of the respondents. This study can be further extended to other companies in the It sector
