dc.description.abstractIndian food and grocery retail sector is in the transformation mode for many reasons like strong Macro-economic fundamentals and the changing socio-economic scene are diving what were once traditional and small scale retail outlets into organised retail formats aimed at catering to the evolving tastes and needs of the discerning consumers. This sector is predominantly dominated by the traditional kirana stores i. e Mom and Pop Store, which have strong relationships with the customers for various technical and functional quality benefits extended to them.-
