dc.description.abstractAs poultry industries become more aw are of economic, social and environmental issues in society', these industries are using supply chain concepts to increase efficiency. The poultry industry in Bangladesh, which is the main focus o f this research paper consists a long forward and reverse supply chain and deals with various kinds o f stakeholders. The focal perception is that these chains may he able to exploit advantages in attaining economic, social and environmental benefits by utilizing mainstream products and waste resources. The objectives o f this paper are to review related literature and develop a supply chain model for the poultry industry. The developed model will be tested using real data from a poultry case industry to reveal the benefits o f a supply chain to society, economy and the environment.-
