Abstract: The field experiment was conducted during at new orchard of Main Agricultural Research Station, UAS Raichur, to assess the response of various ip irrigation regimes, viz. , 60, 80 100 and 120 per cent ET using ip and furrow irrigation, in terms of efficiencies and economics on marigold flower (Tagetes erecta L. ). The application efficiency was found highest in 60 per cent ET (92. 48 per cent) using ip irrigation than other treatments and the lowest was found in furrow irrigation. The water use efficiency was found highest in 80 per cent ET (6. 98 q ha-1cm-1) using ip irrigation than other treatments and lowest was found in furrow irrigation (0. 85 q ha-1cm-1 ). The highest B-C ratio (4. 88) was recorded in ip irrigation.
