University Information Resource Centre- A Decade of Users Consultation

Abstract

In the era of ICT academic libraries have a great fear to lose their basic and traditional culture. Users consult university libraries for the various purposes. Today a number of studies on use of Information Technology In libraries have been conducted but study on use of traditional services are restricted comparatively. Present paper Is A study of users' consultation of University Information Resource Centre (VIRC). Study Is a step towards the traditional and core services of university library. Months as well as year-wise statistics are provided of the whole decade 2000-2010 to-reveal the facts.
