Abstract: Although the term work-familyAife balance is widely employed, an agreed definition o f this term has proved elusive. Instead, an array o f definitions and measures populate the literature. A booming economy has resulted in better jobs and salaries. However, this has brought in long work schedules, leaving individuals with very little time to balance their work and life, ” says Sarang Panchal, The variety o f work-life definitions and measures provide limited value fo r both the theoretical advancement o f the construct and fo r practical human resource (HR) interventions. From a research perspective, a well developed measure o f work-life balance will therefore need to furnish empirical information on various criteria that demonstrate its construct validity. From an applied perspective, the utility o f a measure o f work-life balance could be examined by the value o f the information provided to organisational decisionmakers to implement work-life balance policies. This study is an exploratory in nature which was conducted in Indore (MP) city where respondents were 65 working people, out o f which 35 were males and 30 were females. The statistical tools like t-test, factor analysis were applied to study the objectives.Eleven factors have been generated after factor analysis.
