dc.description.abstractThe present paper makes an effort to study the trend in population growth and the land use pattern across the talukas of the Kachchh region in the state of Gujarat. The paper observed a stable growth in the population during the last three decades. Asymmetrical distribution of population with reference to size and growth was observed among the all talukas of the region. The analysis indicated changes in population and land use pattern for the development of the Kachchh region.en_US
