Abstract: Chinese MBA programmes strive to develop better managers for their future tasks to deal with both global and local experiences. This paper aims at exploring how to cultivate and improve Chinese MBA programmes through the integration of global vision and local immersion teaching and learning approaches. Firstly, this paper explains why global vision and local immersion approaches (GVLIA) are needed. Secondly, it analyzes how integration of Western theoretical concepts with Chinese philosophical concepts has been accomplished through the adaptation of GDUFS' MBA programme. Thirdly, the GVLIA teaching approaches are illustrated with examples, and fourthly, the GVLIA learning processes m GDUFS' marketing management course are analyzed with real cases.
