Abstract: Once considered as an isolated peninsula, South Korea had been ranked as one of the world's poorest countries in the 1950s. Today, however, it finds its place among the world's developed countries and serves as an important gateway to the region's booming economy. . Much as the country is known as an economic powerhouse with many industries flourishing, Korea's education sector also assumes importance for what it has contributed to the nation's economic advancement. This article attempts to review business / management education in Korea with focus on Yonsei School of Business as a paradigm. It will be seen that there are unique features to the management education offered by Yonsei University School of Business (YSB), notably its Global MBA programme.
