dc.description.abstractThe textile industry plays an imperative role in the growth and development of country. This topic has been selected keeping in view the necessity of day to day operation of businesses, topic is very much important in this case. Another one is available data recourses and the interest of researcher. After going through availing literature reviews and discussion with guide, the topic has been selected. Textile is the basic industrial product of Gujarat, Punjab, Haryana, Maharastra, Karnataka, Tamilnadu, Madhya Predesh. This industry is important from two view points . One is its share in industrial development and other is its direct and indirect share in agriculture based industries. Its financial capacity is also important from the view point of industrial development. It makes the highest quality product available at the lowest cost and also results variety of the products available with lowest price. The industry having different dimensional importance, the main problem under study is to check financial liquidity position of the sample units. The study goes ahead with liquidity ratios one activity ratio : Current Ratio, Cash Conversion Cycle, Here in this study top 22 companies are selected as sample.-
