This abstract presents a comparative study of civil liability for nuclear damage in the United Kingdom (UK), the United States of America (USA), and India. As the use of nuclear energy continues to grow worldwide, the potential risks and consequences associated with nuclear accidents have become a significant concern. Civil liability regimes play a crucial role in ensuring that the victims of nuclear incidents are adequately compensated and that the nuclear industry remains accountable for the damages caused. This study aims to analyse and compare the civil liability frameworks in the UK, USA, and India, focusing on key aspects such as legal principles, liability limits, compensation mechanisms, and the role of insurance. By examining these jurisdictions, which have different legal traditions and levels of nuclear development, this study provides valuable insights into the diverse approaches taken to address civil liability for nuclear damage. The outcomes of this research contribute to a better understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of the civil liability frameworks in the UK, USA, and India. Ultimately, the aim is to facilitate the establishment of effective civil liability regimes that balance the interests of victims, the nuclear industry, and society as a whole.en_US
