dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this paper is to highlight the employee relations interventions undertaken by the Power Grid Corporation of Indi a (which was formed in l 992 through a merger and acquisition). This paper will also help HR professionals and organizations in achieving better employee relations as a route to ac hiving organizational excellence. One of the important ways to attain organizational excellence is by preparing employees through appropriate communication, building teams, creating an appropriate work culture and aligning their vision with the organizational vision. Greater trust, higher employee involvement, ownership and commitment of people and good citizenship behavior may be the outcome of such organizational efforts which in turn would contribute to building greater organizational excellence. This paper is centered on the systems and processes implemented in the organization. It concludes that with proper communication forums it is possible to get the employee involvement and thus organizational excellence. | - |
