dc.description.abstractTraining has been identified as a key strategy by all HR professionals in the IT sector. In today's competitive world, all organizations focus on increasing their efficiency and effectiveness both from financial and non-financial perspective. This research paper is an exertion to identify impact of training on organization effectiveness with reference to IT sector. The study is conducted with a view to facilitate managers and HRD professional in IT and related sector so that impact of training can be identified. Moreover, organizations can make necessary modifications in order to increase their non-financial effectiveness through training. Job satisfaction, employee commitment and employee engagement were identified as important parameters of non-financial organization effectiveness. The data were collected from 105 employees of IT sector. A five-point likert scale questionnaire was used having statements of training activities and organizational effectiveness. Data analysis was done using various statistical tools such as correlation, regression, one-way ANOVA with the SPSS. The findings of the study indicated that training activities are positively related to organization effectiveness. Thus, it was established through the study that better training activities lead to higher organization effectiveness in IT sector in Ahmedabad district. The study tries to draw empirical evidence by measuring impact of training on organization effectiveness.-
