dc.description.abstract | Stress has been called "the invisible". It is a disease that may qffect you, your organization, and any of the people in it, so one cannot afford to ignore it. The results of stress are harmful to i11dividuals, families, society a11d orga11izatio11s, which can suffer from "orga11ization stress". The insurance sector in India is one ~f the booming sectors of the economy and is growing at the rate of 1520% per annum. Together with banking services, it contributes to about 7% of the country's GDP The paper addresses issues of stress in insurance companies. The survey was conducted among 100 employees who are working in insurance companies. This study, "Stress management in insurance sector" was conducted to know the level of stress and its consequences faced by the employees and its effective management. | - |
