Fading Rupee Issues, Concerns and Solution Measures

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to consider the causes and consequences of this rupee depreciation which is badly hurting the Jndian economy. it is.fuelling inflation and has hurt economic growth. The Indian rupee was a silver based currency during much of the 19th century which had severe consequences on the standard value of the currency, as stronger economies at that time were on the gold standard.
