Is Rent Seeking a Tendency that Can Be Observed in Nonprofit and Non-Government Organizations S' Institutions in India and USA?

Abstract

This research paper looks at the functioning of nonprofit organizations and Non-governmental organizations in order to observe rent seeking practices followed, if any. It mainly concentrated on India and USA. The research takes into account published articles, research papers, media information and news and data obtained from different impartial agencies in order to identify the research objectives. On the basis of the information obtained and assessment done, it was conclusively evident that rent seeking practices were not only visible but is rampant in NPOs and NGOs.
