Abstract: The prediction and prevention of financial distress is one of the major factors which will help to avoid bankruptcy. One of the most commonly used statistical ratio models for predicting business collapse is Altman's Z Score. This model has proven to be a reliable tool for bankruptcy forecasting in a wide variety of contexts and markets.
