dc.description.abstractThe Study is to examine the effect of Career Plateau and also to find out superior career support on career satisfaction. A random sample of 105 IT employees full time working in Indian firms responded. For data analysis Multiple regression was used. The findings in this paper bring out whether the superior career support significantly predicts career satisfaction. The IT employees in IT Firms in India may be identified as a unique population worthy of empirical investigation, details of how they actually manage their careers remain clear. The objective here is to know the factors affecting the career plateau, impact of Hierarchical Plateau and job content Plateau. The findings of the study provide interesting association for individual's career satisfaction and will be a source of general guidance in stimulating future research in this area.-
