dc.description.abstractThe significance of this study lies in highlighting the implementation of the PMEGP Scheme in Tinsukia Town guidelines for which followed during the period of 2008-09. The study is explanatory-cum-analytical in nature. The data collected are both primary and secondary. The primary source are the interview schedules, whereas the secondary source are the books and journals as well as various websites. Number of beneficiaries 2008-09. The first part shows the analysis and findings of the information gathered from the beneficiaries. The second part shows the opinion of the DICC officials as regards various dimensions of the PMEGP scheme and the third part shows the opinion of various bank officials about the different aspects of the scheme specifically related to the banks.-
