Based on data obtainedfrom 285 girls and 205 boys from rural areas, 133 girls and 78 boys from urban areas who have passed standard 10 public examinations in Kerala, this study explored gender equality beliefs of boys and girls who have completed the secondary education successfully. Urban boys have the least commitment towards gender equality. Rural girls have internalized this value better than their urban counterparts.-
