Abstract: | DDifferences in depicting the size of self and placement of self byorphan and normal children in relation to different family memberswas studied using family drawing method. I 05 orphan and I 00normal children constituted the sample of the study. The resultsrevealed that orphan and normal children differed significantly fromeach other with respect to drawing the 'self-size' and 'placement ofself' in relation to different family members. More orphan than normalchildren omitted 'se lf' figure in their drawings. More normal thanorphan children have depicted the 'size of self 'figure equal to that ofall family members and size according to age. More normal thanorphan children placed their self-figure close to father, mother and siblings. |
