Abstract: The present study was conducted to find out how Life Skills help to cope with stress. This study was done on tribal Adolescent students of Surguja district of Chhattisgarh state. The tribes chosen by the investigator were Oraon, Kanwar and Gond. The tools used for this study was Life Skill inventory, that is, "An im•entory of conventional adaptation to life skills in tribal students". It consists of IO dimensions of Life Skills vi::.; Seeking Social Support, Problem Solving, Self Blame, Keep to Self, Tension Reduction, Conflict, Social Action, Spiritual Support, Physical Recreation, and Professional Help. To measure the Wellbeing of tribal students the tool used was PG/ General Wellbein~ measure prepared and standardi::.ed by Santo.sh K. Verma and Ms Amira Verma (2009). It was published by National Psychological Corporation, Agra. The results indicated that the dimensions Conflict, Social Action, Spritual Support, Physical Recreation, Professional Help and Life Skills Total were effecting the Wellbeing of tribal adolescents.
