Abstract: he main objective of this study is to know the position of corporate power and politics at strategy implementation in IndianCompanies. The present study provides ·a picture of the perceptions of 50 Companies about the position of corporate power andpolitics in strategy implementation. The data have been collected with the help ofstructured questionnaire from the top executives ofthe selected companies. In the present study, majority of strategists have said that corporate culture is not much affected by use ofpolitics and power. 28 respondents have said that political consideration and use of power are the part of behaviouralimplementation. 31 strategists have said that there is no corporate politics in their respective organizations. Majority of therespondents feel that politics and power are not essential to the organisational success. Majority of the strategists have given theopinion that consensus building affects the nature of politics and use of power. 31 strategists feel that intra corporate politics affectsthe strategist's style.
