Abstract: Any computer system's foundation is its operating system (OS), which controls all hardware and software resources and gives users a simple user interface. Several operating systems have been created because of the growth of open-source software, notably Linux, which has achieved a significant market share thanks to its stability, adaptability, and security. Yet, despite Linux's widespread use, many users continue to run into problems with compatibility, a lack of program support, and customization difficulties. Hence, our team has created a new Linux-based operating system to address these issues called ASH OS. ASH OS provides you with Windows application support and Android application support, battery optimization, and longer-lasting battery life. In this study, we also showed the better output of performance metrics were also collected through benchmarking tests of ASH OS as compared with other popular operating systems. © 2023 IEEE.
