Abstract: | This research paper's goal is to analyse and contrast the effects of in-office work versus remote work on employees' wellbeing. For both people and organisations, the rise of remote work has created new opportunities and challenges. By concentrating on the effects of remote work on employee welfare and well-being, this study seeks to add to the expanding body of knowledge on the topic. This paper aims to shed light on the benefits and drawbacks of remote work in comparison to traditional office-based work environments by performing an extensive literature review and using a sound research approach. The results of this study will shed important light on the variables that affect employee well-being in both office and remote environments. The conclusions drawn from the analysis will offer practical implications for organizations striving to create a conducive work environment that prioritizes employee well-being, regardless of the mode of work. In order to further improve our comprehension of the shifting dynamics between remote work, employee well-being, and organisational performance, this research will also suggest possible research themes for the future |
