The idea of integrating sustainable environmental activities within the established supply chain is known as "green supply chain management." Examples of such processes include product design, material sourcing and selection, manufacturing and production, function, and end-of-life management. Instead of solely seeking to reduce the environmental impact of the supply chain, the green supply chain places an emphasis on fostering value creation throughout the organisations involved. Ecological issues, environmental degradation, air pollution, and global warming have become a source of concern for the country's businesses, societies, and governments in recent years. The environmental issues can be reduced with the help of the Green supply chain. The research studies the various advantages and opportunities the green supply chain provides. It investigates the barriers present due to which the small-scale industries cannot follow these practices in their industries. The results of the questionnaire have been collected and statistically analyzed. The analysis has helped in understanding the barriers that are present in implementing the practices.en_US
