dc.description.abstract | This paper evaluates how gamification helps in employee engagement in an organization and how it’s getting evolved into the circumstances. The sustained interest in gaming approaches in management theory and practice is determined by their extensive opportunities in the research processes and solutions of particular social and economic problems of an organization, the increase of the level of sophistication of gaming techniques, and its ability to organize itself independently, as well as its staff's training and development. Gamification is basically, the practice of incorporating games or game-like components into anything (like a task) in order to promote involvement. It has become extremely popular in recent years among employee engagement tactics as a strategy to boost employee motivation, output, and job satisfaction. A key element that directly impacts an organization's success is employee engagement. Employees that are highly engaged typically perform better, provide more to their company, and have lower absenteeism and turnover rates. The research was motivated by the fact that, as an HR student who will graduate in a few months and join an MNC, I believe that gamification implementation will assist any organization to improve the abilities that they need from their workforce. By doing so, there are two benefits for the company: first, productivity and output will rise; second, employees will be more engaged since they will receive rewards for completing the given task; as a result, absenteeism and turnover rates will fall overall. | en_US |
