Abstract: Allocating funds to assets with the intention of improving your future is known as investing. Investments are undertaken with the intention of producing returns, which increase the initial amount invested. Investments are modes to create wealth for future. This does not benefit only the investors but also the economy as whole. The invested income helps company to grow which ultimately improves the national income of the country, thereby improving the standards of living. Analyzing and predicting the patterns of investment will give us a clear picture about the awareness level among people and shed light on ways to improve the investments in the economy. Companies and other entities will also be keen in understanding the investment pattern among investors to have an idea about their current and potential investors. Salaried class constitute the large portion of the population so understanding their investment pattern will be significant to enhance the overall economic development. This study is based on primary research, where a constructive questionnaire was framed and developed in order to understand the investment pattern among different salaried class people. This will shed light on how these people think, urge that motivates them to invest, challenges they face and ways to improve awareness level among them. This study shows that there is still a need to improve awareness level about different investment instruments among the salaried class people. The investors are gaining more interest in investing, companies must make use of this in order to increase the overall investments. Simplified technology could show better results. Companies and other entities may take measures to reduce the risk associated which will help to gain trust among investors.
