Abstract: Cleaning the streets is often a laborious and exhausting process that needs either manually sweeping vast portions of roadways with brooms over extensive stretches of road. The proposed work discusses the design and development of a remote controlled, four-wheeled electric road sweeper that provides a solution that is both simple and effective for the maintenance of clean and sanitary urban areas. In addition, the sweeper is equipped with a container for storing garbage and uses motors attached to, two counterclockwise brushes and a revolving brush for cleaning. Compared to their industrial counterparts, components are easily available and the maintenance required is less.
