Abstract: A biosensor is an investigative instrument which combines any system with the real sensors to develop a quantitative signal comparable to the analyte’s content. In recent decades, a huge quantity of biosensors have been produced for different applications like food, biomedical, and environmental. By considering the different types of sensing methods generally applied in the biosensing process, this chapter focuses on the outline of the present developments in the manufacturing of biosensors depending on electrochemical, medical, optical, and electronics. © 2024 Elsevier Inc.
