dc.description.abstract | This paper concentrates on the Food & Beverages industries and their environment responsibility. These industries are making profit but they forget that these profits are generates on the cost of environment. These F&B1 industry’s from production to packaging to supply chain it effect the environment. It significantly contributes in the deforestation, water pollution and GHG emissions which not only limited to this but also transportation and distribution of F&B products use single-use plastic or the non-biodegradable packaging which further generates waste which ultimately cause GHG emissions. This paper is highlighting on these issues as water management, waste generation specifically plastic waste and climate change. Also this paper analysis its theory by evaluating two big F&B indsutries i.e. Coca-Cola and Nestle on the basis of their Sustainability Report. This paper based their argue by analyzing the revenue generation of these industries are increasing every year and still each year they are generating waste, wastewater, emission and accused for their act of greenwashing.. This paper in its last part concludes after analyzing the data that in reality the industries are not fulfilling their claims, which are only on the paper but not in the real activity of the industries. | en_US |
