Abstract: This paper presents a comprehensive study and survey on distinct ro- bust cellular technologies with their applications and limitations, including the latest 6G and cognitive radio technologies. Cellular technologies have evolved significantly over the years, with each generation bringing about improvements in terms of data speeds, coverage, reliability, and latency. The study covers various cellular technologies such as 1G, 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G, and the emerging 6G technol- ogy. It also explores the concept of cognitive radio technology, which promises to revolutionize the way we use wireless communication networks.
