Abstract: Trade wars are a complex issue that affects more than just the countries involved in them. Trade disputes involving tariffs, sanctions, and countermeasures interfere with the smooth running of supply chains hence resulting into higher costs, reconfigurations in supply chain infrastructure as well as uncertainties in global markets. These disturbances affect not only businesses but also have wider economic, social and political implications at both national and international levels The area of research looks into intricacies of worldwide supply chains which are yet susceptible to trade wars. It intends to establish how trade issues between nations resonate throughout the whole value chain impacting industries, companies, consumers’ lives as well as national economies globally. By examining the dynamics of trade wars and their impact on supply chain operations, this study aims to provide valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities faced by stakeholders in the global marketplace.
