Abstract: These early chatbots functioned through simple programs governed by rulebased algorithms, leading to somewhat restricted success in addressing customer queries. Lacking the ability to grasp human language and context, these chatbots tended to give stiff, impersonal responses. Nevertheless, businesses began embracing chatbots to enhance their customer service despite these drawbacks. With the expanding reach of the Internet, chatbots evolved into more advanced and efficient tools. Despite their limitations, chatbots gained popularity among businesses seeking to enhance their customer service. With the expansion of the internet, chatbots evolved into more advanced and efficient tools.
