Abstract: Indeed, in recent years, mutual funds have become one of the most favorite instruments to ensure the financial security of people. In addition, while Indian households have partially shared in the success and evolution of its industry, they have also profited from the same. As knowledge and awareness spread, more and more people feel the benefits of investing in mutual fund shares. The primary purpose of this study is to investigate how regular people view mutual funds. However, too many of them invest after they are informed about possible chances. How to draw investing in mutual funds someone with no or limited knowledge of their existence. This Project has given me excellent learning and also an enough scope to implement my analytic ability on my real-time project. This project Report analysis is mainly based on the survey of the market and respondents saving & investment practices. An analysis which helps me to find about the investors’ Performance in Mutual Fund, which schemes currently available most are interested to invest and which term based most are interested to invest and what are the reasons that they are not investing in mutual fund .This project can be mainly divided into 2 parts PART I: A brief introduction to Mutual Fund and the characteristics of it, Profile of the company, Research Methodology. From the points listed above, one can get acquainted with Mutual Fund. More specifically, get to know the basics of it in the Project.
