Abstract: | In response to this landscape, footwear companies are increasingly prioritizing the cultivation of customer engagement and loyalty as integral components of their marketing strategies. What began as a utilitarian necessity to safeguard the soles of human feet has undergone a remarkable transformation, evolving into a realm where shoes serve as both fashion statements and symbols of social status. This evolution has resulted in an expansive array of footwear styles, catering to diverse preferences, occasions, and fashion trends. In this dissertation, we are utilizing information from two primary sources: Nike’s company online retail and the top 100 best-selling sneakers on Amazon. We'll concentrate on four main sneaker categories: running, walking, running, casual, and sports shoes, including those for football, cricket, badminton, and more. We find out consumer preferences, engagement, and uptake in terms of relationships among types of shoes, prices, user reviews, ratings, and sales ranks. The findings may inform marketing decisions |
