Abstract: Employee motivation is crucial for organizational success. This study explored how reward systems influence motivation. An online survey collected data from 42 participants across various fields. The analysis involved descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and regression modelling. The results revealed that financial incentives were the most preferred reward, followed by training opportunities. Intrinsic and extrinsic motivation were both positively correlated with overall motivation. However, the regression model showed that extrinsic motivation had the strongest influence on overall motivation, followed by satisfaction with the reward system, and then intrinsic motivation in this specific sample. These findings suggest that a multi-faceted approach to motivation is beneficial. While financial rewards are important, opportunities for growth, development, and a satisfying work environment can significantly enhance employee motivation.
