Stock markets worldwide experienced significant volatility, and India was no exception. This study delves into the specific effects of the pandemic on two crucial sectors of the Indian economy: Information Technology (IT) and Pharmaceuticals. Prior to the pandemic, the Indian IT industry enjoyed a period of sustained growth. The nation established itself as a global hub for IT services, fueled by a skilled workforce, cost competitiveness, and a thriving digital infrastructure. Pharmaceutical companies, on the other hand, played a vital role in the domestic and international supply chains of essential medications.
