Abstract: In a company's life cycle, mergers, and acquisitions (M&A) are revolutionary events that bring chances for development into untapped areas, growth, and operational efficiency. All parties participating in M&A transactions must consider how the deals will affect shareholder value in the long run because their success is not assured. The long-term effects of M&A transactions on shareholder value are influenced by a variety of complex elements, which are further examined in this research. These aspects include market responses, integration issues, synergy realization, strategy alignment, and other factors.
