Abstract: This paper is concentrated on the application of natural coagulants, as Discharges from numerous sectors pose a hazard to the environment and their characteristics are different from place to place. This issue necessitates the development of resource-efficient and environmentally friendly solutions. Synthetic chemical coagulation has been used to handle effluents from a range of sectors, and it has proven to be a value and accurate option. Industrial polymers, on either hand, are an issue of frustration because of their semi nature, difficulty to decompose, and physical hazards associated with their remains. Industrial chemicals are more expensive, while active compounds are more value, ecofriendly, and lengthy. Organic coagulants, while their proven usefulness for treating waste water from industries and possess a unique set of restrictions that have need to be verified for wide range of uses. The present research examines the use of natural coagulants in the treatment of industrial effluents, as well as their comparative benefits and drawbacks when related to synthetic coagulant i.e alum. New research subjects have also been discovered that could lead to the widespread production of natural coagulants, providing an ecofriendly and long-term solution to the issues caused by industrial pollutants and chemically based coagulants. © 2023 IEEE.
