Abstract: The pwpose of the study is to explore the relationship between workplace deviant behaviour and Managerial Effectiveness as moderated by Organisational Commitment. The present study was done on a sample of 200 Middle level managers belonging to Private Sector Organizations. Variables in the study were assessed using three validated Instruments. Descriptive statistics, Factor Analysis, Pearson Product Moment Correlation and Hierarchical regression analysis was used to ana~yze !he data. It wasfound thal workplace deviant behaviour was negatively related to Managerial Effectiveness and Organisational Cammi/men/ moderated !he workplace deviant behaviour and Managerial Effectiveness relationship. By unders1anding the relationship between these variables, the organisations should conduct /raining programmes to actively manage their Human capital.
