Abstract: Today's economy being knowledge economy, the only thing that may guarantee competitive advantage to the organizations is knowledge and its effective management. Existing literature 011 knowledge management shows that the eff ective implementation of knowledge management practices requires active i11volveme11t of the employees, apart from factors like organizational culture, leadership style, IT tools etc. Thus, examining employees' attitude towards knowledge management is important. The present study is conducted to perceive the employees' attitude towards the knowledge management practices i11 the service sector orga11izations of Kolkata.
